Description
Cells (presumably) discoid. Valves circular; apical axis 44–90 µm, with conspicuous marginal processes and, apparently, 2 radial labiate processes. Valve margins with small spines.
Distribution
Southern Ocean (Hendey, 1937; Priddle & Fryxell, 1985).
Comments
This species has rarely been reported from the Antarctic. Priddle & Fryxell (1985) noted that its generic position is uncertain.
