Description

[after Dodge (1982)] Cells subspherical to lenticular, 23–48 µm long, 32–68 µm diameter; surface smooth with scattered pores. Cingulum equatorial; cingular lists comparatively broad, projecting laterally. Left sulcal list prominent, curved to the right. Tabulation 1a, 6'', 4c, 5s, 5''', 1''''; plate orthoform. Chloroplasts absent.

Distribution

Southern Ocean, near South Georgia (Dodge & Priddle, 1987).
